Ditching the car when I get home for one of these..

My left foot & skateboard.

Skating this thing made me feel like it was the first time I'd ever stepped on a board. DIY from the guys at Skatehalle. Lennie ripped it like a mini ramp.

Lennie & Erik.

Hats off the Lennie Burmeister, for lighting this up so Erik and I could attempt to skate this piece of heaven. Erik ended up finding some lines, but I was slumping about and getting lost in the labyrinth of the shallow end.

Berlin is beautiful, there is no other way I can really put it. The city has so much history and has been through so much in the past century. Three days was much to short to really get a taste of what this city has to offer. Berlin's relaxing atmosphere even put a calm to my blistering toes yelps. Seeing how far the city has come over the past twenty years is mind blowing. Buildings seem to just sprout up out of the ground. Walking the streets really gives off a sense of breathing. From the hip towns that mirror Fishtown in Philly to the industrial side of the city; there is always something happening. Tradition meets growth. Berlin, I will be back.
